What is my child’s preferred Intelligence?

Ever wondered why your child learns better when they are using their hands or can remember spelling words by visualising the words on the paper?  (try this test)

Howard Gardner recognised that  there are 8 separate types of intelligences:

•    Linguistic (Word Smart)
•    Logical-mathematical (Number Smart)
•    Visual-spatial (Picture Smart)
•    Musical (Music Smart)
•    Bodily-kinesthetic (Body Smart)
•    Interpersonal-communication (People Smart)
•    Intra-personal awareness (Self Smart)
•    Naturalistic (Nature Smart)

Now that you have taken the test you can assess which intelligence is dominant in your child.  This will make you are aware of your child’s cognitive profile, keep it in mind when planning activities with your child.
